This policy explains what information Salem Tree Pros collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
The short version

- Calls to our number are recorded.
- We use a call tracking service that sets a cookie and records how you found this site.
- We share your details with the tree service crew that does your work.
- We do not sell your information to anyone.
Information you give us
When you call, text, or email us for an estimate, we collect what you choose to tell us. That usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and any photos or details you send about the tree or the job.
We only ask for what we need to price the work and get a crew to the right address.
Calls are recorded
Calls to and from (503) 773-5301 may be recorded. We use recordings to get job details right, to train the people who answer the phone, and to check the quality of the service you received.
You will hear a short announcement about recording when your call connects. If you would rather not be recorded, tell whoever answers and they will stop the recording, or you can email us at info@salemtreepros.com instead.
You can ask us to delete a recording of your own call at any time. Email info@salemtreepros.com and we will delete it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, the type of browser and device you are using, the pages you looked at, and how long you were on them. This comes from standard web server logs.
We also use CallRail, a call tracking service. CallRail places a cookie in your browser and records which search engine, search term, advertisement, or link brought you to this site. It connects that information to your phone call if you call us. This is how we know which parts of our marketing are working.

Who we share your information with
The crew doing your work. Tree work in the Salem area is carried out by a local tree service company. To give you an estimate and schedule the job, we pass along your name, phone number, property address, and what you told us about the job. That company uses it to contact you and do the work.
Service providers. Our phone system, website host, and email provider handle your information as part of running this business. They are only allowed to use it to provide those services to us.
When the law requires it. We will share information if we are legally required to, or if it is needed to protect someone’s safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them for the work and for our own business records. Call recordings are kept by our call tracking provider. If you want your information deleted sooner, ask us.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information, including any call recordings
- Stop contacting you

Children
This site is for people hiring tree work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
This site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reputable providers for phone, hosting, and email. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not keep payment card numbers or financial account details on this site at all.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, including the City of Salem’s website. Once you follow a link off this site, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
